Life presents a wide range of challenges—financial stress, family conflict, physical and mental health struggles, spiritual dilemmas, cultural tension, and relationship issues. These difficulties can deeply impact our daily lives, often leaving us feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My greatest passion is supporting individuals as they navigate these challenges, helping them heal, grow, and reclaim a sense of wholeness.
In many historically marginalized communities, mental health remains a taboo topic. Cultural stigma, lack of representation, and limited access to resources too often prevent people from seeking the help they deserve. In some cultures, mental illness is misunderstood or even spiritualized in harmful ways—leading to shame, isolation, and untreated suffering.
As a Liberian American mental health practitioner, I am deeply committed to breaking down these barriers. I strive to make mental health care more accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive—especially for African and immigrant communities.

I am a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with over 23 years of experience in healthcare, providing compassionate, patient-centered care across a wide range of clinical settings. My career began with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2000, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016, and has since evolved into advanced practice with a strong focus on improving patient outcomes and expanding access to quality care.
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse environments, strengthening my clinical judgment, adaptability, and ability to manage complex patient needs in fast-paced settings. I am known for remaining calm and effective under pressure while maintaining a compassionate, respectful approach to care.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring strong listening skills, cultural sensitivity, and a trauma-informed approach to treating individuals across the lifespan. My ability to build trust, assess mental health conditions thoroughly, and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans allows me to support patients in achieving stability, resilience, and improved quality of life.
My passion for healthcare is deeply rooted in both professional experience and personal history, which continues to drive my commitment to mental health care. I am dedicated to delivering holistic care, reducing stigma, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals, families, and communities.
